3D Metal Bow Tie

Crafted using the Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) printing method, the 3D-printed bow draws inspiration from the costumes in the French film ‘Irma Vep’ and represents an endeavour to explore a more environmentally-friendly approach to fashion.

Building upon previous season’s printing experience, the structural support and ideal thickness of the garments were optimised. This resulted in visually appealing and wearable rapid prototypes for every style of garment, showcasing aesthetics and functionality in a sustainable and forward-thinking manner.
