These creators exemplify the fusion of creativity and technology, creating collections that resonate with a new generation of trend-savvy consumers. They include Paolina Russo, known for their futuristic take on sportswear heritage; Yat Pit, the visionary Hong Kong brand, blending cultural nostalgia with progressive fashion storytelling; and Celine Kwan, a Hong Kong-born, London-based designer known for her playful aesthetics with a commitment to sustainability, ethical manufacturing and technology.
The London-based Design Duo: Paolina Russo
Paolina Russo is a London-based fashion label blending traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. Founded by Paolina Russo and Lucile Guilmard, the brand merges elements like knitwear and wood carving with futuristic techniques to create designs that feel both nostalgic and innovative.
The Visionary Hong Kong Brand: Yat Pit
Yat Pit is a visionary fashion brand founded by Jason Mui and On-Ying Lai in 2015. The name “”Yat Pit””, meaning “”the first stroke”” in Cantonese, reflects their mission to revive and reinterpret Chinese culture through fashion. Based in Hong Kong, Yat Pit challenges the dominance of Western aesthetics by drawing inspiration from traditional Chinese garments and infusing them with a modern, cross-cultural perspective.
A Hong Kong-born, London-based Designer: Celine Kwan
Celine Kwan and her eponymous label are on a mission to redefine modern fashion through innovation, storytelling, and cultural exploration. A Central Saint Martins graduate, her designs reflect her multicultural upbringing, blending playful aesthetics with a commitment to sustainability, ethical manufacturing, and technology.
