BIANCA SAUNDERS - FabriX

Bianca Saundes

Bianca Saunders launched her eponymous London-based label in 2017 after completing her Masters in Menswear at the Royal College of Art. Her brand artfully blends masculine and feminine elements, focusing on redefining menswear by exploring men’s tailoring psychology. Saunders prioritises circularity and collaborates with Nona Source, the LVMH-backed platform that upcycles excess fabrics from luxury fashion houses, and Positive Materials to ensure environmental responsibility.

The Bianca Saunders brand gained international acclaim, debuting at London Fashion Week and later at Paris Fashion Week in January 2022. The brand continues to produce two collections annually and participates in various collaborations. Known for innovative silhouettes and craftsmanship, Saunders often explores body mapping through bespoke prints. She views clothing as a dynamic expression, embracing a multi-disciplinary approach. Rooted in her British Caribbean identity, Saunders’ designs reflect the rich tapestry of Anglo-Caribbean relations.

Saunders has garnered numerous awards, including the BFC/GQ Designer Fashion Fund 2024, New Establishment Menswear Award 2023, 32nd ANDAM Grand Prix Fashion Award 2021, and inclusions on the 2023 BOF 500 and Forbes’ 2020 30 Under 30 lists. Her commitment to the community is evident through mentorship roles, including being appointed the 2023 Mentor at the Istituto Marangoni.
